21. Review your saved information
You can ask WappGPT what it remembers. For example: what do you remember about me? or what do you remember about my gym?
WappGPT can show the applicable saved information so that you can review it.
22. Correct your information
If saved information is incorrect, you can ask WappGPT to update it. For example: My gym membership renews October 16, not October 14. WappGPT should update the stored value.
23. Delete individual information
You can ask WappGPT to forget specific saved information. For example: forget my old gym membership renewal or delete my plumber note.
For broader deletion requests, WappGPT may ask you to confirm what should be removed before proceeding. Deleting an individual memory does not delete your entire WappGPT account.
24. Export your data
You can request an export of personal information associated with your WappGPT account by sending export my data.
WappGPT may provide an account-specific, temporary link through which you can request or retrieve the export. Depending on the information available, an export may include saved memories, reminders, LifeTree information, preferences, and account information. Appropriate identity verification should apply before an export is made available.
25. Permanently delete your account
You can permanently delete your WappGPT account by telling WappGPT delete my account.
Account deletion is different from deleting an individual memory. Because permanent account deletion is irreversible, the initial WhatsApp request does not immediately delete the account. WappGPT sends a confirmation request to the verified email address associated with the account.
26. Account-deletion verification
The email-confirmation link for permanent deletion should be single-use, time limited, securely generated, and linked to the specific account and deletion request.
The confirmation page should clearly explain what will be deleted and require an explicit final confirmation. This will permanently delete your memories, reminders, LifeTree, routines, preferences and other WappGPT account data. Scheduled reminders and follow-ups will stop. This action cannot be undone. The user must affirmatively confirm before deletion begins.
27. What permanent account deletion removes
After confirmation, WappGPT begins removing the active personal product data associated with the account. Depending on the features used, this may include saved memories, reminder information, recurring routines, LifeTree data, goals and important dates, quiet hours, follow-up preferences, scheduled SMS and phone calls, active LifeTree links, account profile information, active sessions, and authentication or access tokens.
Scheduled reminders and follow-ups are stopped. Where an active paid subscription exists, future subscription renewal should also be stopped as part of the account-closing process. Permanent deletion cannot be reversed.
28. Information that may remain after account deletion
Deleting a WappGPT account removes the active personal product data associated with that account. Some limited information may need to remain temporarily or for a legally required period, including:
- encrypted backup copies awaiting normal backup expiry;
- financial or accounting records that must legally be retained;
- records necessary for fraud prevention or security;
- information needed to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; and
- a minimal deletion record needed to ensure the deleted account remains deleted.
Such retained records are not used to continue operating, personalize, or recreate the deleted WappGPT account. The GDPR right to erasure is subject to specified conditions and exceptions; it is not absolute in every circumstance.
29. Creating another account after deletion
If you permanently delete your WappGPT account and later register again using the same phone number or email address, the new account should be treated as a new WappGPT account. Previously deleted memories, reminders, LifeTree content, and preferences should not automatically reappear.
30. Support information
If you contact WappGPT Support, we may process information needed to investigate and respond to the issue. This may include your name, contact information, WappGPT phone number, issue description, relevant timestamps, screenshots or files you choose to provide, and account activity relevant to the reported problem.
Authorized support personnel may review information reasonably necessary to investigate the issue. Support records are subject to the support-retention policy.
WappGPT itself remains your personal assistant; customer-support requests are handled through the Help Center and support process rather than turning the WappGPT conversation into a customer-service bot.
31. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights relating to your personal information. These may include the right to:
- know how your information is processed;
- access personal information held about you;
- correct inaccurate information;
- request deletion;
- restrict certain processing;
- object to certain processing;
- receive applicable information in a portable format;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and
- complain to an appropriate data-protection authority.
The exact rights available can depend on the purpose and legal basis for processing.
32. How to exercise a privacy right
Many WappGPT data controls can be used directly through your conversation. For example: what do you remember about me?, correct my gym membership renewal, forget my plumber note, export my data, or delete my account.
For a formal privacy-rights request, contact privacy@wappgpt.com. Please tell us what right you want to exercise and provide enough information for us to identify the relevant account.
Where we have reasonable doubts about identity, we may request proportionate additional verification before carrying out a sensitive request. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.
33. Complaints
If you believe WappGPT has handled your personal information incorrectly, contact privacy@wappgpt.com.
You may also have the right to complain to the relevant privacy or data-protection regulator in your jurisdiction. Where GDPR applies, this may be your applicable EU supervisory authority. Where UK GDPR applies, complaints may be made to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
34. Children
WappGPT accounts are intended only for people who meet the minimum age required by our Terms of Service and applicable law. The service is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Information relating to children may sometimes appear in a parent's or caregiver's reminders, for example: School pickup Friday at 3 PM. That does not by itself create a WappGPT account for the child.
Features that contact another person directly must follow the relevant recipient-consent and permission requirements. If you believe WappGPT has collected personal information from a child in violation of applicable age requirements, contact privacy@wappgpt.com.
