Security and data protection at WappGPT

You might tell WappGPT:

The same focused pattern applies to a plumber quote, a Friday reminder to send Ali a proposal, or anything else you ask it to keep. WappGPT uses the information needed to save the memory, retrieve it later, schedule the reminder, or place it into your LifeTree.

Send export my data. WappGPT can provide a secure, temporary link for starting the export process. The export link expires and requires appropriate account verification.

The export can cover the data categories you actually use, such as saved memories, reminders, LifeTree information, preferences, and account information.

Users open LifeTree from their WappGPT conversation:

WappGPT then provides a private, short-lived access link. When that link expires, request another one rather than relying on a permanent public URL.

If you need to subscribe, update your payment method, switch billing, add call credit, or manage your subscription, WappGPT sends you to the appropriate billing page.

Permanently delete your WappGPT account

To begin, send delete my account. WappGPT does not immediately delete the account.

Because account deletion is irreversible, the deletion request must be confirmed through the verified email address associated with the account. The confirmation link is single-use, securely generated, time-limited, and tied to the specific account and deletion request.

After clicking the email link, you must explicitly confirm that you understand deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. That checkbox is not preselected.

Once deletion is confirmed, WappGPT begins removing the account from active systems: future reminders and follow-ups are cancelled, active sessions and LifeTree links are invalidated, saved product data is removed, and future subscription renewal is stopped. Deletion actions are also propagated to relevant systems and service providers where required and technically supported.

If you use WappGPT again in the future, you will start with a new account. Signing up again with the same number does not restore deleted memories.

When an account is deleted:

1. the user's active account data is removed from production systems;
2. the deleted information is no longer available through WappGPT;
3. any copy that temporarily remains inside an encrypted backup is placed beyond normal use;
4. that copy disappears as the relevant backup expires under the established backup-retention schedule.

Backup data containing information from a deleted account is not used for personalization, analytics, normal product operation, customer support, account recovery, or recreating the deleted account.

A disaster-recovery restore does not bring previously deleted users back into production. WappGPT maintains a minimal deletion record sufficient to reapply deletions after a restoration. That record does not preserve the content that was deleted.

Deleting an account does not always mean every non-product record can legally be erased immediately. WappGPT may retain limited information where necessary for tax and accounting, payment records, fraud prevention, security investigations, resolving legal claims, or complying with applicable law. Any such retained information is limited to what is required and is not used to recreate the deleted WappGPT account.

These may include providers for WhatsApp messaging, SMS delivery, phone calls, cloud infrastructure, payments, AI processing, monitoring and security, and customer support.

If a valid deletion request affects information held by a relevant processor or recipient, the deletion process also addresses that copy where required.

Access to production systems containing user data is limited to authorized personnel who need that access to operate, secure or support the service.

Application and security logs are designed to avoid unnecessarily recording sensitive WappGPT content such as complete saved memories, full message bodies where unnecessary, authentication tokens, temporary LifeTree links, payment credentials, or encryption keys.
